  • Clinical features include :
  • Nearly 1% among all types of jaw cysts
  • Mostly second or 3rd decade of life.
  • Males are affected more than the females.
  • It is more common in the ramus area of the mandible.
  • Usually asymptomatic; lesions in the advanced stages, cause swelling of the jaw with expansion and distortion of the cortical plates.
  • Displacement of regional teeth, with obvious facial asymmetry is a common finding.
